Hazrat Saad Bin Zaid (R.A)



 Hazrat Saad Bin Zaid (R.A) is the companion of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and the brother in law of Hazrat Umar (R.A). He was born in 593 CE and is among the ten who were promised Paradise. 


He is one of the early converts to Islam. He converted to Islam at the age of twenty. Hazrat Saad Bin Zaid(R.A) is primarily known for being the source of conversion of Hazrat Umar(R.A) into Islam. It was him and his wife Hazrat Fatima, the sister of  Hazrat Umar(R.A) who turned to Islam first in the family of Hazrat  Umar (R.A). It is upon fighting with them that the heart of Hazrat Umar (R.A) changed and he became a Muslim. He is also known for his bravery and administrative abilities. 


Hazrat Saad Bin Zaid (R.A) died at the age of 79 in 673 CE.

 (PBUH)Al-Sadiq (The truthful one) and Al-Amin (The trustworthy one).  Muhammad (PBUH) was well known for his good manners and honesty.
