Hazrat Talhah Ibn Ubaidullah(R.A)



 Hazrat Talhah Ibn Ubaydullah(R.A) was the cousin of Hazrat  Abu Bakar (R.A) and among the first eight people who accepted Islam. He is presumed to be born in 597 CE. 


Hazrat Talhah Ibn Ubaydullah (R.A) was one of the Mahajars and was given the title of “living martyr” by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The title was given to him for his valiant efforts and bravery in the battle of Uhud, where he protected Prophet (PBUH) from the attacks of Kuffar(Non-Muslims). He is also among the ten people who were promised Paradise by Prophet (PBUH).


He is believed to have died in 656 CE.

 (PBUH)Al-Sadiq (The truthful one) and Al-Amin (The trustworthy one).  Muhammad (PBUH) was well known for his good manners and honesty. He was known as Al-Sadiq (The truthful one) and Al-Amin (The trustworthy one).  There are many stories related to Muhammad’s youth.
